I am lucky to have great friends who take amazing pictures, and was incredibly moved when Melissa Price, of Priceless Photos by Melissa posted this back to school shoot on her blog. I teared up at her lovely photos…and was touched when she offered to do one for our girls.
Melissa is a family photographer, who also does lovely fantasy sessions that are stunning. The backdrop was J’s Landing in Plantation, an old Pennsylvania barn (in the middle of South Florida) full of charm, love,gorgeous ponies, horses, and a rooster. (A rooster that you can walk on a leash, but that’s for a different day!) The theme was back to school, and we came with the hope of capturing some lovely memories at sunset of Lila in her new journey through Kindergarten. Her little sister tagged along, and it became a wonderful shoot for both girls that resulted in gorgeous shots Ralph Lauren will be begging for! Here are the photos, all taken by Melissa…in what she calls…
