If you love sports and haven’t been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard the news and watched Skip Bayless’ newest show on FS1 called UNDISPUTED. Bayless moved to FS1 after leaving ESPN, and joined Shannon Sharpe and former South Florida radio host Joy Taylor. Taylor was (and still is) a fan favorite in South Florida, where she worked for 790 the Ticket and CBSSPORTS.com. She’s also one of the most genuine media members you’ll ever meet, and is truly authentic in everything she does. She’s smart, clearly knows and lives sports, but more importantly isn’t afraid to speak her mind and stand up for what she believes in, even if her opinion is unpopular.
I sat down with Joy via Skype to chat about her recent wedding, big move across the country, working with controversial television host Skip Bayless, and asked her 10 random questions to help those that don’t know much about her to get to know her better. I was a huge fan of First Take and really miss Skip now he’s gone. I’ve caught undisputed a few times and enjoy the format and the content. I don’t always agree with Skip but I love listening to his opinions. I’ve noticed Joy Taylor and am a huge fan of women in sports media. I grew up watching Sportscenter with my Father and I never saw women, not one woman. Great Interview, she seems like a sweetheart 🙂
