Jonathan Zaslow is the lovable and sometimes goofy morning radio show host on FM 104.3 and 790 The Ticket in Miami. He’s also the father of two boys who talks frequently about his family on the show. So when I visited ‘Zas’ and his partners Joy Taylor and Brendan Tobin at the station last week, I decided he would be perfect “dad in sports” to debut a new video feature here at mommy in SPORTS called “The 2 Minute Drill.”
Why was I at the radio station? We are airing a feature on ‘Zas’ tomorrow night in our pre and post game shows on HEAT.com and Sun Sports during Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals. We followed Jonathan during a game day to see just what it takes to juggle his two demanding on-air jobs…and his family.
He also told me a great story about meeting Eric Reid as a boy and talking to him often while waiting for the bus in the mornings. I asked Eric if he remembers Jonathan back then…you’ll have to tune in to see his reaction!
