It’s getting down to it folks, the last weekend before Christmas is upon us. But the hardest people to shop for in my life…are the boys. We all have that man in our lives…a dad, husband, or brother…and never know what to get them for Christmas. Another Miami HEAT t-shirt? Coffee Mug? Tie? But do you ever really get creative for the guys? So here are a few ideas to wow Dad on Christmas, and maybe redeem yourself for that ugly tie.
For the Big Kid….
Guys love new toys…no matter how old or busy they are. Take my husband for example…we went into Toys R’ Us to make the girls Christmas lists and he was hypnotized by all the cool things. That’s when I knew we had to get him a train set…
Who wouldn’t love a train set to go round and round the Christmas tree? My mom bought one for my Dad a few years back and my kids loved setting it up during Thanksgiving. So I bought my hubby one on cyber Monday from Amazon.com. Don’t worry, I’m not spoiling the surprise….my daughter already did that. “Daddy daddy we bought you a choo choo train!”. Uh…thanks Lila.
Or if trains aren’t your thing, think anything remote control. Seriously, cars, trucks, sail boats, or the helicopter is another fav in this house.
For the Sports Fan…
Colin Cowherd’s new book is a good one, though I’m not loving the shirtless cover. Or how about their favorite teams shirt, hat or ornament? We found great deals on Cyber Monday at Fanatics.com, and loved the quality of the winter beanies we purchased. And you can still get the items by Christmas if you order today!

Have you heard of the new Mosaic photo books?
I just found out about this free new app, and I have to say it’s pretty amazing. I literally made a photo book from my iphone. What if all your pictures are on Facebook, or your computer? No problem, Mosaic literally connects to instagram, Facebook, and all other photo apps and allows you to import and create from your phone! I couldn’t believe how easy it was. I made one while I was getting a pedicure yesterday, and it will arrive in time for Christmas. I think this is a great one for dads of course…but also grandparents too! Oh and only $20!
For the Gadget Guy…
One of our favorite new gadgets is the Jawbone Bluetooth speaker. Want a quick way to listen to tunes by the pool? Or need to calm the kiddos in the bath?
