Do you always want to buy a chalkboard and write cute messages on it for your kid’s first day of school? Me too…but I always forget! And since I’m OBSESSED with chalkboard printables, I decided to make a chalkboard first day of school printable for our littlest who starts VPK this year. But then I thought, hmmmm…maybe I should make some for my friends who have kids in all different grades too?! So I did! Check out these free chalkboard first day of school printables. They are gender neutral (just like Target’s toy section), and go from preschool through third grade. I thought about making them for older grades too, but our budding second grader doesn’t even want to hold one this year. Seven-tween is attitude for days.
They look super cute in a white wood frame, or you can just print them out and hold them in your best back to school outfits! Just click below and download whichever grades you need!
Hope your pictures come out cute, and your back to school days are easy peasy! Oh and if you really need a fourth or fifth grade template drop me a line and I’m happy to add it in!
Also, check out these printables from Carrie Elle – super cute! This is a really good idea too – a teacher survey from Working Mom Magic.
And if you need some organization inspiration, or calendar printables, I made these!

Those are so adorable! I seem to forget to use even printed out signs, we’re always running so late. I do love these, though. Maybe I should put the tradition on its head and take the pictures after the first day is over. I might actually be able to remember the signs then!
